Dr. Luka Pavešić Receives Golden Emblem of Jožef Stefan

We are hapy to announce that our colleague, dr. Luka Pavešić, has been honored with the Golden Emblem of Jožef Stefan (Zlati znak Jožefa Stefana) during the 34th Jožef Stefan Days.
This prestigious award recognizes the exceptional impact and international resonance of his doctoral thesis.

Dr. Pavešić received the award for his outstanding doctoral dissertation titled The effect of Coulomb charging energy on states inside the superconducting gap. His research was conducted under the mentorship of prof. dr. Rok Žitko (Jožef Stefan Institute and the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, University of Ljubljana).

The Golden Emblems are awarded annually to young scientists for the highest quality doctoral contributions. 

Along with dr. Pavešić, awards were also presented to dr. Ana Rebeka Kamšek and dr. Vitjan Zavrtanik.
