At the Flavor Physics and CP Violation (FPCP) 2025 conference (Cincinnati, June 2–6, 2025), Svjetlana Fajfer and Luka Leskovec from the Department of Theoretical Physics delivered invited plenary talks.
Prof. Fajfer opened the conference with “Flavor Physics and CP Violation: From the Standard Model towards New Physics,” a broad overview of flavor physics and potential new physics directions. Ass. prof. Leskovec presented “Lattice Results: Cool Stuff from the Lattice,” summarizing recent advances in lattice QCD and its impact on flavor phenomenology. In the picture they are joined by prof. Jure Zupan, a member of the Local Organizing Committee, and dr. Manuel Szewc, a postdoc at the University of Cincinnati, underscoring the department’s strong international presence.
