The existence of dark matter in the universe is an unavoidable fact while the nature of it  still remains  an unresolved mystery. We here try to explore the possibilities of having particle dark matter through different level of detection prospect. With an example from each  models, we would  try to sketch a brief overview towards freeze in and freeze out.
