Prof. dr. Svjetlana Fajfer gave the keynote talk “Implications of LHCb measurements and future prospects” at the conference From Flavour Anomalies Towards New Physics, which took place from 25 to 27 October 2023 at CERN.

The aim of the conference was to study the latest results of the LHCb collaboration, discuss possible interpretations and identify important channels and observables to test theoretical approaches in the near future, and this invitation is a special recognition for the researcher and the Institute.
In her lecture, sher gave an overview of the experimental results that have attracted the most attention of theoretical physicists in the field of particle physics, presenting the foundations of the emerging theories and the possibilities of observing the implications of these approaches. Deviations of measurement results from the predictions of the underlying particle theory, known as the Standard Model, have implications for the emergence of new theoretical explanations and corresponding theories of new physics.
