| New research by Fabio Staniscia and Matej Kanduč, published in the Journal of Colloid and Interface Science, reveals how the shape and size of water nanodroplets and nanobubbles influence the adsorption of amphiphilic molecules. Using molecular simulations, the study shows that curved surfaces matter: surfactants adsorb more to convex droplets and less to concave bubbles. This subtle effect could have wide-reaching implications—from cloud formation to drug delivery systems.
