On 3 December 2025, the research community in Slovenia will come together for a round-table discussion marking the end of the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology, held under the framework of this year’s Science Month.
The event — organised by the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, University of Ljubljana (UL FMF) and the Jožef Stefan Institute (IJS) — will take place in the UL FMF Library at Jadranska ulica 21 in Ljubljana, between 10:00 and 11:30 AM.
During the session, researchers will summarise the key achievements of 2025 in quantum science and technology — both globally and in Slovenia — highlighting the role of Slovenian scientists, institutions, and projects in advancing quantum technologies.
Our colleagues prof. dr. Rok Žitko and dr. Lara Ulčakar will also participate in the round-table discussion.
The event is addressed to researchers, professionals, media representatives, and stakeholders from high-tech and innovation companies.
Participation requires prior REGISTRATION .
