Based on the 2025 internal calls for proposals for RSF START, FUTURE and IND projects, the winners of RSF projects for 2026 have been announced.
Among the recipients is our colleague dr. Jan Rozman, who was awarded an RSF START project entitled “Nematric or polar epithelia: what causes cell turbulence? (NOPE)”.
The START projects were awarded to dr. Jan Gačnik (O2) for the project “Atmospheric modeling and chemistry of mercury: Experimental and computational approaches to understanding atmospheric mercury (AtMoMer)” and
dr. Jan Rozman (F1) for the project “Nematric or polar epithelia: what causes cell turbulence? (NOPE)”.
The FUTURE projects were awarded to dr. Mirela Dragomir (K5) for the project “Synergistic research of nickel-based superconductors (Super-Ni)” and
dr. Aleksander Matavž (F5) for the project “Selective and enhanced gas sensing with nano-confined ionic liquids (SENSEI)”.
The recipients of IND projects are dr. Naomi Northage (F6), dr. Gašper Žun (B2), dr. Muhammad Shahid Arshad (K7), dr. Gregor Primc (F4), and dr. Andraž Bradeško (K5).
